You'd think that when you are paying over £300 for a pair of headphones that the manufacturer could at least include a 6.3 mm adaptor to allow connection to an amplifier.

I think they are great. Sounding fresh, vital, agile and full-bodied from an iphone, altready. They also scale well, delivering improvements with for insyance a Naim Headline. However, the Sennheiser Momentum scales even better, I would say the M's is the option when driven by a separate headphone amplifier, and the P7's from an iphone/ipad.
But your mileage may vary.
Let's hope that this new model is not as disappointing as the P3 and P5.
So far, existing B&W headphones look good but sound terrible
