Poor box. Doesn't support DVI input TV's with HDMI adapters. Doesn't allow switching away from Freesat to allow viewing of other "free to air" channels like CNN, France 24 etc. Returned mine as not fit for purpose and opted for the Humax - it worked great after software upgrade 07. Like chalk and cheese, forget the Alba brands until they sort themselves out!

The one I brought today upgraded it's software on start-up and allows you to manually tune into FTA channels - so not for the faint-hearted!  but possible.

got this box about 6 months ago for �59 from Argos,cant fault the hd pictures stunning on bbc hd and itv1 hd,its true the sd pictures are a bit soft but i just watch sd on freeview which is crisper for sd,an update is on its way soon so you can connect the box to the internet to watch bbc i player on freesat cool,the whole of the world cup is on freesat bbc hd and itv 1 hd there couldnt be a better time to get this box,works off a sky mini dish the price is now �67 but still a bargain.
