Great headphones for classical, folk and s.c. acoustic music in general. The sound is airy, very detailed and precise, and at the same time soft and not tiring - a perfect combination, IMO. Round, pleasant mids. Bass is, I would say, very elegant - there's no hit and punch, but the real depth, free from any coloration. Piano, harpsichord, organ, chamber ensembles - they all sound great on T70. Also voices and any kind of acoustic instruments.
Though a bit heavy, they are very comfy. Solid, German manufacture.
A good headphone amp is recommended (T70 have 250 Ω impedance). I personally use Graham Slee Solo.
