It says 'nothing' against these headphones in the review, so I bought a pair. The feel on my little head is vice like, not quite as bad as the Sennheiser hd202's but similar. They've been stretched on the bread bin and that hasn't helped. So uncomfortable.
The sound......Well there is a nice taut bass with these phones, separation is good and soundstaging. The treble however is teeth splitting. You can take it down a notch in the apple equaliser or whatever, but then you lose some mid range too.
Were they burnt in? yes, two days with the kaiser Chiefs playing away in a cupboard. Put them on, little improvement.
Not just a tad bright now and again, pretty much unlistenable and no they're not fakes.
Test them for yourself

The gorgeous retro design is hard to resist, but the TEAC fails to deliver an engaging and musical performance at this price
The all-round ability of the Luna 7 means it should sit well with a very wide range of systems
A poor implementation of a neat concept, with poor sound to boot. Disappointing
