Apart from the 33% loss in screen, AC Wifi and tied into iTunes the rest you mention is pointless, outdated or irrelevant to Apple users
You will be hard pushed to AC on many tablets
Yes iTunes has it negatives but it also has alot more plus points
Splashed out £399 on the 32Gb model with WiFi only. This is my first tablet and I chose it for its iconic design, high spec and reputation. It is fast, has a fab screen and I'm slowly learning how to use it. However, one reason I chose the iPad was I wanted to use iTunes to stream my lossless music that sits on a WD MyBookLive attached to my router using Airplay. This works perfectly well using iTunes on my PC Laptop. It works with Airfoil from other software. It works from my new iPad mini when iTunes is open on my laptop. However, as soon as my laptop is switched off, the sharing is lost and iTunes for iPad loses the library!
This is very disappointing and suggests that Apple don't want me to use my personal 'cloud' but subscribe to their iCloud which somewhat defeats the object for me. I would have been OK if I'd bought an Asus Windows based tablet.
Whether this is Apple's fault or WD's fault I don't know but it is very frustrating. Given the current state of streaming technology it seems a huge ommision, especially as the iPad is increasingly expensive, the more inbuilt memory you buy.
At least Spotify works!
My first major Apple product leaves me to recall why all my smartphones have been Android not iPhone and that won't be changing after this experience!

A great amp with some notable musical skills, but it loses a star compared with its better-performing, better-specified rivals
Another admirable and attractive soundbar from LG, pipped to that fifth star by fierce competition
The large screen and punchy picture are highly attractive for this price, but you’ll have to forego the smart features and Full HD resolution
