why wold you even contemplate a high end product with cheap buttons?? In any case, I really cannot accept that anything can "justify every penny" as you put it of over £18K for a domestic hi fi amp. Maybe it is indeed brilliant, but its not VFM at that price, and never can be. It's an indulgence, which is not to diminsh it in any way, merely to put it into a real world context.
