Have you turned of all the image processing modes? We often find that helps.
I have revised the settings as follows;
Advanced Sharpness - OFF
Dyn Contrast - OFF
MPEG Artefact reduction - OFF
This has improved things considerably.
Makes you wonder why such functionality is offered.
I bought this TV just before Christmas, mainly on the basis of the 5* review in What HiFi, as it seemed to offer the best compromise between SD and HD reproduction.
However, i am seeing significant motion blur during playback of SD DVDs (via a Samsung upscaler) and also on HD/SD TV channels. This issue is far more noticable than on my old Sharp Aquos HD ready 26" set (in fact it was hardly noticeable at all)
Watching Red Tails on Neflix in Super HD showed no such issues, although the picture had a strange greenish tint...
I appreciate that upscaling to 1080p from SD DVDs might explain why i am able to detect some discrepancy, but i expected HDTV to be absolutely pin sharp.
I'm hoping this can be tuned out with some attention to the settings, although it might take me another year to optimise all of these.......

A seriously talented performer that has a few design issues
This is a top-notch surround package for the money. It’s a worthy alternative to the award-winning KEF R100 5.1
A great amp with some notable musical skills, but it loses a star compared with its better-performing, better-specified rivals
