What does this mean when listening to music and what is the likely cause?

Looks fabulous, and great to have everything in one place.  They seem to have gone to a lot of trouble, even over the headphone output.  

A bit disconcerting that the back-up is done in such a way that you cannot transfer to another device, unlike my 50 year-old LPs, and 30 year-old CDs, which play on everything! 

Maybe better if you are starting out today, rather than looking to store a huge back catalogue? 

Extraordinarily over priced! 5* even considering the price? Really

Yes, but for 4400 less you can have the Apple TV2.  And when the technology changes next year, you've only lost 100 pounds instead of 4500.
