Here’s how it works: Philips Ambilight televisions project a ‘halo’ of colour and light onto the wall behind your set. That blends in with the picture on your screen, sharpening the viewing experience.
The next level is Philips AmbiLux: a system that features nine tiny pico projectors on the back of the television. These project moving colours onto your walls that broadly match what’s happening on your screen. The idea is that it expands the picture beyond the limits of your screen, creating a viewing experience that is more immersive, and more comfortable for your eyes.

We’re hosting a special event for a select number of readers at a private venue in North London on Wednesday April 20, 2016. It will be a laid-back, fun evening - and we’re evening throwing in some food and drink. And as an extra incentive, one person who attends will win a range-topping 65-inch AmbiLux UHD Philips television worth around £4000.
