Tangent goes back to mono with FM table radio

It looks retro, works retro and even sounds retro – but the Tangent Uno table radio is brand new, and comes in a choice of striking colours.
Selling for £99.99, the new model offers FM and AM reception – with not a sniff of DAB to be had – and a large tuning control and very 'old wireless' dial. In fact there are just three controls – power/band, volume andf tuning, and the top-mounted 7.5cm speaker is driven by a 5W amplifier.
Other connections allow you to plug your iPod or MP3 player through the Uno, use it with headphones (for which it has a stereo output) or connect a subwoofer or recorder.
The case is made of solid wood, and it comes in a choice of wood finishes, or colours including red, green, orange and purple.
It's distributed in the UK by Sennheiser.

Always good to have an internal monologue, I feel...
I wouldn't call it a radio, I'd call it a wireless.
Bit of a joke aint't it.
