Sky to launch dedicated EPG for HD customers

Sky's existing EPG
Sky is to launch a dedicated EPG for HD customers designed to make it easier to find the HD channels.
The new EPG is due to launch on February 1st 2011 and will see some HD channels swap places with their SD counterparts in order to make them more prominent, reports trade magazine ERT.
Non-HD subscribers will not be affected by the move, which will look to put an end to the scattered, often seemingly random allocation of channel numbers.
Hilary Perchard, Sky's director of product management, said: "We believe this little change will make a big difference, with customers being able to find their HD content more easily. It will also drive up levels of HD viewing.”

About blummin' time, too!!
haha totally agree with indiecheese as i also do that
This can only be a good thing, if ITV1 and BBC1 do it also. The wife can now watch Come Dine with Me without me chipping in with "Switch to 140" every 2 minutes
It's already there - press the Blue button to keep the program and you'll be asked to confirm deletion.
Please ask sky if they will give us a second chance when deleting a recorded programme. As windows does ie:
"do you really want to delete this programme". Then I will not get agro from the fdamily
Finally...!! Was half way through films or stuff then remembered it was in HD. Then turned it over to say everytime" oh, thats better and doesnt it sound good too" doh.
That'll be good, although I have just finished memorising the current numbers, {sigh}
