Sky has teamed up with gadget guru and Twitter star Stephen Fry to promote its forthcoming 3D TV channel, launching on October 1st.
Fry features in a humorous video explaining the technology behind 3D TV and how it all works. He told our sister site Stuff.TV: "Sky is making the technology available to the programme makers and giving them a platform on which to show it. No doubt they'll come up with fun and exciting ways of using it that people would never have imagined.
"The great thing is, apart from the TV, it isn't a huge upgrade. In terms of the Sky option you don't need anything more than the Sky+ HD box and service."
You can watch Stephen Fry's video now at www.sky.com/3D, on YouTube or on Sky Anytime.

Will all you 3D haters just go away! I love 3D and I am saving for a 3D projector, so just let those who embrace new ways of enjoying movies, TV and games carry on as we are ( without your input ).
3d is not the future never will be
...and... is it just me, or does our national treasure [tm] look a bit like Jarvis Cocker's dad?!
