Sennheiser upgrades its in-ear headphones with CX 300-II
Sennheiser isn't shy of releasing new sets of heapdhones, and here's yet another set in the form of the CX 300-II. Yours for just £40, the CX 300-II earphones come with three different-sized ear sleeves and weigh just 4g.
The 'phones promise to be "a totally overhauled and upgraded design [but] at the same recommended price", which naturally sounds good to us.
There's a new driver unit with improved efficiency to help prolong battery life, and predictable promises of improved dynamics, clarity, bass – the lot.
They're available in five colours – black, white, silver, red and pink – and you'll also be glad to hear Sennheiser supplies a carry case for your cans.
Joining the CX 300-II is the CXL 300-II, for around a fiver more, and adding an integrated neck lanyard capable of holding a phone or MP3 player.
We've got some samples winging their way to What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision HQ now, so we'll let you know what we think of them very soon...
