Philips 42PFL9664
Philips has reduced the prices on two of its new flatscreen TVs, the 42PFL9664 and 32PFL7404

Philips has adopted a policy of charging premium prices on some of its new 2009 flatscreen TVs, but the good new is that it's now cutting the cost of two if its latest models.

The 42PFL9664, which features strongly in our October 2009 TV Supertest, falls by £200 from £1700 to £1500.

And the company's 32PFL7404, which we'll be testing in our November issue 32in TV Supertest (on sale September 16th), drops by £50 to £650.

Find out more about the Philips 42PFL9664 in the October issue of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, on sale now, and by watching our exclusive News video.
