Panasonic's latest TV commercial for its Viera 3D TV range will air at 19.45 tonight during Coronation Street.

The TV ad will form part of Panasonic's biggest-ever pre-Christmas advertising campaign.

Those lucky enough to own a 3D TV already will be able to watch the ad in all its 3D glory.

If you don't have a 3D telly, you will still be able to enjoy a "3D-like experience thanks to advanced cinematic effects used to bring the advert to life", says Panasonic.

If you do get to see the ad in 3D, let us know what you think of it in the Comments box below.

Sorry about that folks, no idea what happened. We were sent the info yesterday by Panasonic's UK press office, so took it on good authority that the ad would be aired. Very odd.

Perhaps it was only shown in the London area - we northerners are often overlooked! I too was sat there with my glasses on, feeling like a pillock.

Same here mate, i tuned in but no advert.

I can remember the sony 3D one was advertised alot when the football was on sky, so i will make sure i tune in for the ads during the football this weekend and see if it gets shown there.

I watched the ads around 19:45 during coronation street & there was no panasonic ad, what happened, have they decided to put it on at a different time, i'm quite upset i was looking forward to that.

Thanks Andy, just had a look around about 130 for those two things i think i will just keep with the tv at the moment, thanks.

Yes gel, you'd need a 3D TV with a pair of 3D glasses (and a 3D transmitter if it's not built into your TV as standard).

I do watch coronation street most of the time, abit sad i know, so i will definetely tune in for this, i have not got my 3d tv yet though but if i had would i be able to watch it then?  I suppose i would need a pair of 3d glasses right? and the wireless transmitter thing and would i need anything else to view it?

Thanks
