Cable TV operator Virgin Media is adding new kids and movie channels to its TV line-up this month. The channels will be supplied by CSC Media Group and Sparrowhawk Media Group.
From today, Virgin customers will be able to watch Diva TV and Movies 24+. Diva TV airs variety and talk shows such as the Late Show with David Letterman and The Oprah Winfrey Show, and will revive the CBS Paramount daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful.
Movies 24+ will show a mix of made-for-tv movies including comedies, thrillers, action movies and romance. It will join the existing Movies 24 channel on Virgin, but will offer an alternative schedule to its sister channel, showing the same content but at varying times of the day.
In addition, the True Movies channel will show true-to-life drama and romance films, including classic movies from the 1980s and 1990s.
The new channels appear as follows on the electronic programme guide:

- 192 Diva TV
- 425 Movies 24+
- 428 True Movies
