NEWS: Roberts' all-in-one music system

If you like the idea of having one unit that takes care of all your audio needs, the Roberts Sound 24 could be the portable solution for you.

Not only does it deliver Roberts' traditional FM and DAB radio tuners and necessary speakers and amplification, it also incorporates a CD player, SD card slot, USB input and an auxiliary connection. And all for £200.

The system includes a 2.1 speaker system – the sub's on the back – and includes an 'ultra bass' sound mode. Also of note is the 'Bookmark' facility, which remembers the last played position of either your CD or SD card, even after the system's been turned off.

The Sound 24 is the world's first DAB radio with this function for CDs and SD cards.

As well as the functionality as a music player, the system has 20 presets, multiple alarm functions and sleep modes, a light sensitive display and a remote control.

Available to buy now, we've seen the Sound 24 for at least £20 less than the £200 asking price already. Look out for a review very soon.
