NEWS: Magic Box Touch portable DAB radio available now for £60

If you'd prefer your portable DAB radio to have a more modern look, rather than the retro design that seems to be much in vogue these days, then the shiny black £60 Magic Box Touch unit shown here might fit the bill.

The Touch has an alarm clock, a connection for your MP3 player, a power output of 6w from its stereo speakers, FM/RDS functionality and 20 presets (10 DAB/10FM).

It can be mains or battery powered, has auto scanning for DAB and FM stations, touch controls (hence the name, we assume) and a backlit LCD display.

The tuner handles DAB Band III and FM reception, and is capable of decoding DAB transmissions at up to 256 kbps.

Connections include a 3.5mm headphone socket, stereo phono out, a 3.5mm auxiliary input for MP3 players and other portable devices and a 9V DC power adaptor socket.

Magic Box's Touch measures 11.5 x 27.5 x 6.5cm (hxwxd), and is available from www.magicboxproducts.com for £59.99.
