NEWS: Logitech adds Elite to Pure-Fi range

Logitech has added another MP3 speaker system to its new 'Pure-Fi' range, the Pure-Fi Elite, hot-on-the-heels of the Anywhere and Dream models covered last month.

The Pure-Fi Elite is Logitech's bigger baby, retailing at £200 and boasting more substantial two-way satellites complete with 1in tweeters and 4in woofers.

The system also includes an AM/FM tuner, LCD screen complete with clock and radio information and a dock connector complete with docking station.

Thanks to the universal iPod dock connection, this is compatible with all current iPods, including the newest 'Pods announced this week. The Elite will also charge your iPod when connected.

Connections include a 3.5mm input for connecting other audio devices, while there are composite and S-Video outputs for viewing images and videos stored on your iPod.

The Logitech Pure-Fi, £200, is due out in October. Look out for reviews of this and all the other Logitech speaker systems soon...
