Sonos BU250
Bag yourself a hi-fi or home cinema bargain this weekend at the Manchester Show

The Manchester Home Entertainment Show is underway, and we've already spotted some fantastic bargains on offer here over the weekend.

For starters, there's a standard show deal of 12.5% off all items over £100 sold through the show sales desk, or 15% off if you buy two items or more (again, over £100).

On top of that, individual manufacturers are offering additional discounts.

So for example, you can save a whopping £450 on Pioneer's BDP-LX52 Blu-ray player and VSX920 AV receiver, with a package price of £599.90.

And you can pre-order Pioneer's brand-new 3D Blu-ray players – the BDP-430 and BDP-LX54 – which are making their UK debut here in Manchester. Check out the prices on offer at the Pioneer stand.

More after the break

Sonos has a great deal on its BU250 system bundle (ZP90, ZP120 and CR200 controller) which comes with a pair of Castle Knight One loudspeakers, all in at £869.95 (save £229).

You can also save £555 on Arcam's just-launched FMJ BDP100 Blu-ray player with its AVR500 multichannel receiver, normally £3554.90 together but available at the show for £2999.95.

Boston Acoustics is offering its Award-winning SoundWare XS5.1 speaker package for £329 (save £70), or £299 when bought with any home cinema receiver.

There's a £100-£300 saving on Castle Knight speakers (depending on model), 20% off Marantz separates and 20% off selected Denon products too.

Yamaha is offering free iPod docks with selected products, and Onkyo will give you a free HDMI cable worth £25 plus the standard show discount on its Award-winning TX-SR608 and TX-NR808.

As for TVs, there's £200 cashback on selected Samsung LCD/LED TVs, and a free 3D accessory pack with and 3D TV purchased. There's also a free 3D Blu-ray with both the 40in and 46in C750 models.

These and many more tempting offers will only be available for the duration of the show, so join us here at the Renaissance Hotel in Blackfriars Street to bag yourself a bargain.
