LG HB954SP
Looking for an all-in-one Blu-ray home cinema system? Then check out the new HB954SP from LG

LG's new HB954SP Blu-ray home cinema in a box system is designed to deliver high-definition sound and video from Blu-ray discs.

It's capable of Full HD, 1080p video playback, comes with five satellite speakers and a subwoofer, built-in amplification of 1000W and can decode high-definition audio.

As well as conventional Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks, the system will decode Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD (High Resolution Audio) and DTS-HD (Master Audio).

The slimline system is Profile 2.0 enabled, so users can connect it to the web and download BD Live content from Blu-ray discs.

iPod owners can use and charge their portable players through the system, and the sound has been tuned by hi-fi guru Mr Mark Levinson. LG's Sound Gallery offers seven sound modes for you to play with, including settings for News, Drama and Sports, plus a Night listening option.

More after the break

There's one-click access to YouTube, two HDMI inputs, 1080p upscaling of standard DVDs, USB playback and optical and coaxial digital inputs.

LG's HB954SP goes on sale in the UK in November. Price to be confirmed.
