iPhone to get MMS and Spotlight support with OS 3.0

Apple iPhone owners will soon get support for MMS messaging when the iPhone OS 3.0 upgrade arrives this summer.
Apple is finally adding functionality that other phones have had for years, namely the ability to send messages complete with images.
In addition, there will be a spruced-up App Store, cut, copy and paste functionality and a landscape kepypad. And there's support for A2DP stereo Bluetooth connectivity.
You'll also be able to forward and delete multiple messages and make voice memos, while the new Spotlight homepage (shown as an app on your homescreen) enables users to search iPod, Mail, Calendar and Contacts on your iPhone in a fuss-free manner.
iPhone OS 3.0 will be free to all iPhone 3G owners, but again Apple has decided to charge iPod Touch users – $9.95 in the US, so likely to be around £10 over here.

I've heard there's an iPhone price-cut due in May. Only a rumour, but...
Why do you want MMS? You can already take a photo and insert it into an e-mail as an attachment without paying anyone a penny. Why do you want to be charged to send photos over the text messaging network at a lower resolution? Or am I misunderstanding what MMS is? Now Cut & Paste, that will be truly useful! At last!
took them long enough, I've been waiting for them to support MMS before buying one!
So when is the next gen of iPhone going to be launched? I'm still on the 1st gen and hanging on for a real difference!
About time! Brilliant news (for 3G iPhone users!)
