We've just got out hands on Yamaha's new flagship multichannel amplifier, the awesome DSP-Z11. This £5000 monster can amplify a staggering 11 speakers at once, has 33 different DSP surround modes, network support for internet radio and music streaming and punches out 140w across seven channels.

Naturally, it also supports all the new high-definition audio formats available with Blu-ray, as well as conventional Dolby Digital and DTS. It's THX Ultra 2 certified, has video upconversion and scaling, can drive four separate zones and weighs a hefty 34kg.
