Clean your flatscreen TV - with Spudz!

New from US company Alpine Innovations is the Spudz HD Ultra microfibre cleaning cloth, designed to keep dust and marks off your flatscreen TV.

The cloth, which sells for £12.99 and is just over 30cm square, is permanently attached to its storage pouch, which comes complete with a self-adhesive hook to hang it behind your TV.
And if the cloth gets dirty, it can be hand or machine-washed with a mild detergent, ensuring it will last for many 'wipes'.
Alpine Innovations makes a range of these cloths, designed for cleaning camera lenses and the like, so the Spudz HD Ultra will be more than soft enough to clean TV screens.
It's distributed in the UK by specialist photographic company JP Distribution.

Spent all my working life in technical textiles.Synthetic fibres are too `stiff` for cleaning delicate surfaces,they will scratch.True, microfibres are good dirt collectors,but they also impart static.You cannot beat a clean lint free cotton cloth,and maybe a drop of distilled water.Micro doesn`t mean soft,just small.
Let's hope it's better designed than AM Plasma/LCD cleaners, one of which recently ruined my £2,600 Pioneer Plasma screen!
Hmmm, Amateur Photographer gave one of these away a year or two ago (not branded Spudz) - I've never used mine, so it's good to know I can clean my TV screen with it!
and a sub to "lovely girls fishing monthly" should cover the remainder.
