armageddon
Aerosmith and Armageddon, Dallas on the Beeb and colour on ITV, Yamaha's price cuts and what you wore for your wedding – all human life is on whathifi.com

It's September 5th, and ten years ago today Aerosmith's I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, from the blockbuster movie Armageddon, hit the top of the charts, and stayed there for four weeks.

Today Freddie Mercury would have been 62, it's 29 years since the BBC started showing Dallas, and 39 since ITV first broadcast in colour.

Meanwhile news from the IFA show in Berlin has given way to the latest from the CEDIA Expo in Denver, and it's only six weeks until the 2008 What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Awards issue goes on sale.
