Just cycled there and back - overall I think it's a good store - very large and plenty of choice for the usual suspects - TVs, Blu-Ray, Home Cinema etc. Also as you'd expect, very little in the way of Hi-Fi - I spotted a Marantz CD6003 and a Pioneer CD changer! There was a couple of demo rooms though, including a 3D Home Cinema room with a projector screen, which shows potential for maybe getting a demo of something before you buy. There's also quite a few kitchen gadgets, hoovers etc. around if you're into that sort of thing (I love kitchen gadgets so spent a bit of time perusing them!).
Most of the items on offer were still available (I spied lots of Jamo, Toshiba and Isis boxes at the front) so if you're thinking about some of these offers, you've probably still got time to pop down this afternoon and pick them up I reckon. Plus hundreds of copies of Iron Man 2!
Quite a few people were there, but clearly not as packed as they were expecting - loads of unused crowd control fencing pushed to the side (I got there about 9.30am) and plenty of burly security guards looking menacing amongst the more friendly, smiling Best Buy staff!
However, I did think I'd pick up Iron Man 2 for £9.99 while I was there (£5 off Amazon price) but after queuing for 5 minutes in a fairly long queue and not moving a step, I decided it wasn't worth it - clearly a lot of people are making more substantial purchases than I was!
Nice to know it's there though for the future.
Ooo, might just have to stroll down and take a look.
just read the flyer and you can get iron man2 on blu for £9.99 or back to the future box set for £19.99
First post, first attack on another member, thejesus. Solid work.
Presumably some time after you learn to spell.
When are Best Buy going to open North of the Boarder!
