The perfect match for a Cyrus 2

I am in the process of putting together a sound system for my dining room based around the Cyrus 2 amp.
The source will only be ipods and the system will not be played loud.The room has wooden floors and is approx 4m x 6m, I am completly stuck as to what speaker choice will do the job I am planning on buying them 2nd hand in the range of £100, any make or age if they do the job!
At present I have a cyrus 3 amp&psx supply with mission 753 speakers in the livingroom and this sounds very average when the ipod is played through it and really does not perform at low volumes
