I have spent about 1200 pound's putting this system together, it's not perfect but it's close enough, i am happy with it, might buy a better dac at somepoint.

The sound is smooth and powerful, i watch movies and play xbox through my system and listen to music for hour's, really need to invest in a super comfy chair!!

Those RX1's in piano high gloss finish are a beauty... to look and to listen.  Great for you!

I have just upgraded my chair and dac, the m1 is a nice upgrade over the v-dac 2 and sounds' much more lively, the chair is also a good upgrade, my backside is nicely supported.

YAAGGAICM£5.

Aren't the tweeters going to be well below the level of your ears on those stands though?

The chair is adjustable so i can get low enough, tbh the soundstage does not really change that much if im sat up bit higher, i might look at getting some better stands soon as thats the only thing id change, really happy with the sound, forget the hifi, listen to the music Beer

Very nice setup Jimm. I'm also planning on an M1 upgrade. Can you please share some major differences between VDAC2 and M1. Smile

RE: Sound's good to me.

The m1 is brighter than v-dac2 with much more detail, bass is tighter and vocals very smooth, it's fair to say if you like the sound of the v-dac 2 you will love the m1. I know this shouldnt matter as sound is most important but the build and finish of the m1 is top class, the m1 just does everthing much better.
