My system and Im one happy boy...
Thought I'd post some pics of my system now I've finished my upgrades
Im really happy with the MA'S, they are a nice looking speaker and sound the part too. I took this photo just after polishing them with the Auto Glym polish from Moniter audio. (sad i know)
I can not seem to do anything with the cables, maybe a future stand upgrade?
The RXW-12 sub is awesome, it shakes the room
I know the R270's are to close together, but i like them there. I have tryed putting one on the other side of the fire place but did not like it there.
I had a stand made for the S370 to help cool the Denon
I used plaster repaire tape to hide the speaker cables and then painted over it.
I love the way it looks and sounds but black is a nightmare, dust dust dust, I am always dusting.
bigboss:That's an excellent setup you've got there.Very well laid out. Is there any other place for the subwoofer?
Thanks Bigboss. That's the only place I can fit the sub, when we bought the house we got the biggest settees possible so if I put it down the side we will not get in the room.
Very nice! ![]()
Hiding the cables is a pain, especially with open backed stands. I currently have 2 black tea towels hanging down the back of my stand to hide the cables but will get something more permanent made.
Messiah:Very nice!

Thanks Messiah. I have a friend who owns a plastic fabrication company and could get a black panel made but this will attract more dust. I need a new stand anyway just can not afford one yet...
wow that is one hell of a setup you got there, bet it rocks the foundations! everything looks nice from the speakers to the tv good job.

Thanks markiedee. I was showing a mate my system the other day and was playing a scene from the hurt locker, the one in the desert where they blow up a bomb. My wife was up stairs in our bedroom and said that it made the phone rattle on the bed side cabinet. So you could say it rocks the foundations.
It looks fantastic, no doubt sounds fantastic, well done DD!
Can't believe you think your cables look bad, mine are that poor I've not posted any pics yet!
Cables are certainly a nightmare. Anybody with some good ideas?
Looks great
i like all the black, i definitely think the 270 look smart.
Very nice and discreet and all-black (like my system) is def the way to go. The Radius's are a good choice too make your system look less imposing yet still give the good sound, was tempted to do the same myself at one stage but i always wanted the ms 908's.
Thanks for your comments.
As for the cables I just made sure I took the photos from the best angle, they are mess behind the Denon.
I will try and sought them one day, I am just going to enjoy it for a while.

Lovely clean set up! How does the sub integrate with the Radius speakers? Is the polish any good? Found I cant use furniture polish so wondering how this'll fair for wood covered MA speakers!

Thanks JTD. The sub sounds well with the speakers, I'm very happy with the results a lot better than the kef kube 1 I had with them. As for the polish I don't think you can use it on wood, only lacquer.
