Very nice, looks good. Yes Is it not possible to have your equipment on seperate shelves? I had to do the same with my hi-fi kit, stacked CD player, stereo amp and power amp on top of each other, that was until i built a dedicated hi fi room and could seperate hi-fi from cinema.

Thanks Charl! Actually, there were some glass shelves already made as per the original plan. But I realised that the shelves were interfering with the venting, & the system became hot very quickly. Removing the glass shelves solved the problem.

Thanks gel. Actually, it's a lighting strip stuck to the back of the TV: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30119408

Someone was selling paintings door to door. I think they're works of some Arts students.

Re: My Home Cinema Setup

The Buttkicker has really made a HUGE difference to my movie watching experience! We actually jump out of the sofa during many scenes in 'I am Legend'! It adds a fourth dimension! I actually prefer watching movies at home rather than at the cinema. It feels a lot more real, as if you're in the movie!

One of the best experiences is the first scene of 'I am Legend' where Will Smith chases deer in his car. The sofa vibrates only when the shot is from inside the car, as if you're actually sitting in the car. Take a demo, you would never have experienced anything like it before. That's what I felt when I first demoed.

Looks amazing smith (you don't beat me by the way, had to get that one in), proper nice movie room. I could watch movies in there for hours...really good job there you should be proud! It is very atmospheric. with just the right level of lighting, am jealous.

You sure will beat me Neo! Thanks for your compliments. I sure am proud! This is the result of 2 months of planning, co-ordination of the AV installer & the furniture specialists & lots of patience!
