Just upgraded from 5-year old Samsung LCD to the new LED , and I must say that the difference is huge – in all aspects ( picture, features, connectivity ect )

TenQ...Glad you like it. To be honest, I`ve had a look at your pics. Brilliant looking Hi-Fi. I am certain that it sound well too. Just wondering what would it happen if I add one of those Marantz CD players (  6003 or 6004 ) via nice Chord analog cables to my AVR ??? Would it improve it at all ?

yes it is walnut,indeed Smile)) Actually it`s only a cheap veneer , but it was custom-made to my taste and needs, so quite useful

Never knew ProAc have their speaker cable.

 

How would you describe the sound and home cinema experience with this set up?

With regards to the sound  nd HomeCinema experience - I am not an expert or a musician, so I wouldn`t be able to describe it as well as some of you guys do. I`d say that the picture is great. The Surround Sound on some Blu-rays is stunning ( The latest Terminator, 2012 , Transformers etc. ) Some DVD`s are great too- just wouldn`t miss mentioning "The House of Flying Daggers " - absolutely brilliant sound .  But to be completely honest,some of them sound pretty average. Maybe a higher class AVR would do a better job !? My problem is that there is nothing to compare it with. That`s my very first surround sound system.

Anyway - listening to CD`s is what bothers me at the moment. I think that the Mezzo 6 should sound even better . In their price-range they are one of the best in the class - " extremely musical " they say..... What should I do about it ?

 I would be really thankful for your opinions ....
