My bedroom
I thought I would post some pictures of my bedroom setup, it is what it is and I just wanted to show it off. It might give somebody some ideas.
When me and a freind built the wardrobes I wanted to hide a tv a way inside them and with only buying Blu-Rays now also wanted a player in there to.
You can see in the picture the wifes passion, shoes. The shelves house the expensive one's while the other hundred or so live in the bottom of the wardrobes.
The tv is a Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD it is a 23inch Monitor that features a built-in 1080p digital HDTV tuner I loved the look of this TV and it was the perfect size for the space, also the Sony BDP370 was just the right depth. The cable you can see on the left, conects to my PSP, so anything I record on my PS3, play TV down staires i can use remote play and stream it upstaires to watch.
A bose sound dock for when im dusting the wifes shoes. lol
And a IR dimmer light switch that i've progamed the TV remote to operate. When I bought this the wife said it was a waste of money, after using it for a while she says its the best £40 I've ever spent.
I know its no 50inch 7.1 setup, but it dose all it needs to in my bedroom and im over the moon with it all.
Thanks for looking.
The shoes are very symetrical and have fewer wires - but I prefer the TV
Very neat setup - nice one ![]()
Nice set up!![]()
I was trying to shy away from the wife while looking at your pics but the shoes caught her eye and the laptop was snatched away!

bigboss:Brilliant setup!
I've got the same dimmer from John Lewis which I operate with my Harmony One.
Those are a lot of shoes!! Must be careful not to show the pics to my wife.
Thanks bigboss when I have the living room done I'm going to put a switch in there too. When I did the bedroom I knocked through the ceiling to reinstate a chimney brest, and all the sut destroyed a few pairs of shoes it cost me big time.
Thanks for the replies.

My joiner friend and me made the inners and then ordered the doors from http://www.spaceslide.co.uk/ you decide what color of glass and wood you want and in what configuration you want. Very easy to fit, they supply the runners and deliver.
Wow. The colour of wardrobe will always remind you of Whathifi. Great collection of shoes and nice TV setup above it.

Thanks David.
May be whathifi will pay me to put their name across it. lol
I built the wardrobs around the shoe shelves, the wife thought I was potty when I was measuring hir shoes. She could not reach near the top so I could put my tv up there, one of the benefits of having a short wife. lol
