matching systems

hi my hi fi is abit of a mismatch my amp is a naim audio, my cd player is a pioneer pds904 (abit old) and my speakers are mordoaunt short bronze floor standers i think my amp is probably the strongest part any ideas for a cd player to match

Don't know what your budget is but how about a Naim CD5i? A bit predictable but Naim kit does work better with its own kind.
