I'll start again with showing these pics. At the moment it's 2 seperate systems but planning to have an integrated hi-fi-home cinema set up in my new place, moving in 2 months. I plan to route the fronts from the av thru the stereo amp and move the little MS speakers to the rear to replace the cheapy Eltax ones I've been using for 4 years, although I do fancy some Q-AV rears to hide behind the sofa!

Does tour Amp not get a bit hot sat atop of your HD-DVD Player in such a tight space? When You move will the TV still be located in a corner?

Nice Little system tho and glad to see you eventually cracked how to post a Picture as it stumped Me for ages as well!Cool

Re: Let's try again

No never had trouble with the amp - the cabinet is open-backed so plenty of airflow. The CA fan only comes on if you completely cover the top (e.g. with a CD player, as I did once but quickly swopped them over and put the player underneath). No probs with the HD player either even though the manual states 'do not put anything heavy on top'

Yes the whole system will sit in a new double-width unit (similar style to the one above) in a corner-space 3ft x 6ft. Fireplaces are great in winter but a nightmare for placing your AV kit!

I too am not one for plonking the Plaz above a fireplace. Maybe I am just lucky that  I am able to position My screen centerally in My room.
