Also, what does J'accuse mean?? I can find that it translates to I accuse or relates to a peom. Neither make sense for your post.
Hughes123:Well, I think it's time I posted a piccy of my system! I just got my new t.v today, a Panasonic TX-32LZD85 with 1080/24p, 100Hz and a host of other features. Obviously, it looks awsome!
The other components on my system at the moment are an Arcam FMJ A32 amplifier, an Arcam CD73 CD Player, a Rotel RT-02 tuner, a Project Debut III turntable with Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, a PC built by myself (which includes a Pioneer Blu-ray player, a NVidea 8800GTS GPU capable of way over 1080p, a Cambridge Audio DACMagic, an AMD Phenom 64bit Quad-core 9850 CPU and it's all running Vista Home Premium in either 32 or 64 bit mode) and a pair of Wharfedale EVO2-30 speakers. The results? An absolutly stunning sound (and now vision) system!
P.S - I appologise if the image is badly calibrated, but I havn't had the chance to set-up my screen correctly yet, so the white balance may be a bit iffy on the photo! (oh and I have way more vinyl and CDs that those featured!!!)
Next upgrade? A Thorens TD-125 Mk.II with an SME 3009 and an external DC PSU!
And this is in your bedroom, young Hughes? I had a black and white portable and a tape recorder in mine!! Boy, am I jealous!!

Wish I had a picture of mine when I was your age. I had a record player in the shape of a small travel case (on the floor!) and a Waltham cassette player. The room was 7ft by 6ft, had bunkbeds and was shared with my brother. Oh, and no central heating either!

The turntable seems to be fine - I've had no problems with vibrations etc apart from the motor which produces a 50Hz hum but it's a common problem. I'm also going to get a better rack soon, and I'll wall mount the turntable then.
I must add a bit about wires, because it's all the rage these days!

I'd get those speakers well away from the stand before thinking about that - at the moment you must be getting more feeback than an A++++++ ebay seller.

System looks nice BTW and thats a great TV. Panasonic are making some great screens at the moment. Those Wharfies are too close together mind. Is there no way of seperating them a bit more?

...I borrow a friends Sondek every so often when I get new speakers or a really good album I want to show off. But, yes I did say I had a Sondek, which isn't strictly true...
Nothing untrue about the E70s though, I'm still searching for a pair, but I've never had any.
The 685s? They're downstairs at the mo, serving duties on my parent's home-cinema. I swapped them over yesterday because the Wharfedales are much better for movies, which I am watching plenty of at the mo, due to the new T.V.

Is that where the turntable normally sits?? Is this not affected when those speakers are cranked??
