Very smart did you clean it before you took the photo's, i have a big problem with dust on my A/V equipment, just a couple of questions though what is that clock looking thingy on the bottom shelf & why is their a piece of blu-tac on the top rack.
Superb pictures. Everything looks so pristine and clean....marvellous.
idc:Brilliant pictures, especially the arty views of the Audiolab and Quad. I always liked the look of Audiolab, but it was too expensive when I first started out. So your 1980s one is still going strong, excellent.
Thanks
I actually bought the amp about 2 years ago from a dealers, it replaced a NAD C340 and the openness and clarity was something of a revelation. Vocals became very "breathy". Though it can be a touch forward/revealing at times.

I tried to clean it, but mostly just pushed the dust about. The whole thing seems to be a dust magnet!
The clock looking thing is indeed a clock from Habitat with blue LEDS - not very bright though.
Well spotted regarding the blu-tac - it stops anyone from slamming the WC door into the rack
This is certainly the cleanest hi-fi set-up I have seen in a long time (that includes mine!) ![]()

Mostly an optical illusion, though nothing sticks to the Quads 12 layers of Piano Laquer!
Do you know what the best part of my system is?
The room.
Not the acoustics but the fact there is just a sofa, a window looking onto the garden and my hifi. No TV, no phone, just music

You lucky, lucky, lucky, you know what!
So where is the other speaker?

You're very lucky indeed if you have your very own listening room (with a view)! *envious sigh*
