Room is a treat to the eye, made exponential by that PL/Apex setup... WOW! Can't wait to see your upcoming 65 inches ultraflat TV on that wall... Oh please don't tell me you were aiming for a smaller size, they are giving them these days, and it would just set this monster of a center to about the perfect eye-shattering size, while being also in dominant equilibrium with this very modern, cartesian yet original retro decor! Not only your dream system and room, but mine too!
My finger twitches pretty much daily over the Buy button on a Samsung PS64D8000 so yes, I'm going for a big one!
Love the look of this setup mate and the colour scheme on the walls, proper lads room. After Xmas I'll be painting my room very similar colours which I'll have to do when the wife pops out for milk, lol.
P.S. surely the latest 21:9 by Philips would give this system total WOW factor
Yes sir! 64 is big enough, and Samsung high series are ultraflat... Great choice. Sure you're wall mounting bracket is strong enough for that, or gonna change that altogether too?
Press the button, buy the big telly, your room deserves it. Have a
The bracket will take up to 75Kg and, as I pulled the trigger yesterday on the Samsung PS64D8000, it better be right! Should arrive tomorrow...
All good, your TV must weigh about 40Kg. That's quite the mounting bracket you got there, you really did plan ahead! Don't forget to post us some pics!
And my new Leema Elements DAC (from Frank Harvey)...
Acoustic Treatment installed courtesy of GIK Acoustics.
Has made a massive improvement to the sound.
Well , I can only imagine how good it is now
Sorry about the thick question , but how much does it cost such an improvement to the sound . Just out of a curiosity...And also , how do you find the Elements DAC ? Did you have another one to compare it with ..?
If funds allow, you must get a projector and electric screen in there. Great setup!
Well, eBay finally found me some MA Platinum PL200s in Rosewood that I couldn't resist so I now have a full Platinum surround system. :bounce:
What speaker cables are you using?
