Very nice, Wishtree. Like the look of the quirky-shaped speakers.

Thanks PP! They do have a quirky shape. It is still taking time to get used to the looks of the speakers. Rest of the furniture in the room looks too old style with these speakers around Wink

Your setup is amazing, i love b&0 and the beolab 9s have an amazing deep bass from the 10 inch 500 watt drivers built into them. Can i ask a question in regards to your setup. Do you only get audio from blurays and CDs or do you also have audio from the tv going through the oppo then outputting through the speakers also?

Thank You! The bass is very deep and powerful.

My current set up is

Mac Mini (via HDMI Front ) + SetTopBox (via HDMI Back) -> Oppo -> (via RCA) Beolab 9

But mostly used the following way

Synology NAS (Via Wired Ethernet) -> Oppo

Oppo plays all Music and Video from NAS directly and that sounds the best. In rare usage of STB, I use it via HDMI. Mac Mini connection is just there. I have a feeling I might not be using it any more given that now Oppo plays all the music including Apple Lossless.

Hope this is what you are asking for.

Yes, very nice, congrats.

The photos are very cool but could you also please do us a wider shot to see the whole setup?

Ordered some furniture for the room. Some arrived and some to come. With boxes and building up, the room now looks a lot more messy. Once I clean up, I will add some pics from couch point of view.

Cool, thanks  Smile Good luck with the finishing touches.

Hngggg. Awesome system. I agree there is something of the robotic penguin about the speakers, but I could get used to it very quickly.

Sorry, I know I'm sad but this had been bugging me. Could you change the spelling in your signature so it says My System rather than Sytem

Stuff.

Lovely system. I really want to hear some of those BeoLab 5 and 9 speakers. They look very interesting.

Hi-Fi        Behringer UCA202 > AVI DM5

Head-Fi  Epiphany Acoustics EHP-O2Di > Sennheisser HD700

Portable Sony NWZ-A847 > Westone UM3x

Very nice!

Ideally, get those cables buried in the wall. It won't be an arduous task if you get professionals in.

Thanks Bigboss! I would love to.. At best, I can get a cable channel installed on the wall but any other way to hide them is not workable as of now. To top of it, we are in this place for few months and then we will be travelling again and next year we might be moving elsewhere. Current place is essentially a stop gap and friends think that I am crazy to get a new system for few months Smile

Smile Beolab 3 is the fitting center speaker (with line input as well as acoustic lens for tweeter). However, it looks like the system in 2 channel mode is already very good and might finally make me stay away from a center speaker  :cheer:

I love your setup it's just so simple and clean, the only thing I'd probably get is some trunking but once again a simple and powerful setup congrats.

Can I ask what you've got the speakers on - and why?  Wink They're super classy until the bottom few milimetres!
