X-BOX ONE day early ?
English

I have had an e-mail today from asda saying that my xbox one has neen despatched and will be delivered tomorrow in between 0800-18000 hours.

 

To get it a day easrly would be fantastic !!!!!!!!!

 

Anyone else had a similar thing ????

Be careful connecting to Xbox live with it - some in the states who got theirs early by mistake had their accounts blocked for trying to connect before launch date (though you should be fine playing games offline with it).

pretty sure machine will not do anything useful until first day firmwear patch is installed - dont think will load games so you may have to wait

Yup, that's what I've read too from reputable sources i.e. Xbox One won't do anything until the Day One patch is installed...

If the console does come early, and you don't want to chance getting blocked by connecting it, looks like you can download the patch via your PC and update via USB stick - link.

This might be useful to do anyway, in case Xbox Live has similar issues with congestion as the PSN did when millions of people tried to update their consoles all at the same time (even more likely with Xbox One I'd think, given it's launch is in many territories tomorrow, whereas PS4 was just North America).
