RE: Windows Phone 8.1 update

Turns out, it's some sort of general release update 8.01 something. Not 8.1. Certainly feels faster & more responsive, and now includes feature where you can set data limits. Still checking what else is new.....

There's also a call & sms

There's also a call & sms filter to block unwanted calls & texts from pre assigned numbers. I can't see how this will be of use to me though.

I've been playing with a

I've been playing with a relatives windows phone recently and I like the OS, so much so I'm considering changing my phone. The only thing which puts me off at present is the lack of a Sonos app, I could Google but, do you know if Sonos are planing to release one anytime soon ?

Sonos says it's in the works. Hopefully in 2014. Until then, you've got Phonos, SonPhon & Sonata Lite.

Phonos is good but expensive. I use SonPhon which is pretty good, and does all the things I want.

Is that not for when you get unwanted sales calls etc? I've created a user called Block, told Android to block that user and then add the numbers of any spammers and cold callers that call me to that user and they magically disappear, never to be heard from again. It's chuffing marvellous!

Yes, that's what it's for. But I never get spam calls from the same number.
