Microsoft Surface Pro priced - on sale from 9th Feb
Surface Pro tablet is set to hit U.S. and Canadian shops on February 9, with a starting price of US$899 (£568 ) for a 64GB version, and $999 (£630) for the 128GB version.

Hmmm agree with fr0g, that looks quite expensive. £568+Eurotax is more than a 64GB iPad and slap-bang in the middle of 'decent Windows laptop' territory, and they've already said that doesn't include the keyboard either.
It's not a tablet, it's not a laptop, it's both. But will that fact and the price lead to consumer confusion...
I think it's aimed at business users who want a full Windows 8 Pro OS in the size of a tablet. It is the smallest full OS device yet.
Bear in mind the 64GB version only has 23GB free, and the 128GB version only has 83GB free.
Yes, that is sad, although you can free up additional storage by creating a backup bootable USB and deleting the recovery partition.

Too expensive, especially when they add on the extra selling it in Europe. The Lenovo's look a better bet IMO.
