Sonos iPhone app query...
Just a couple of quick queries I'm hoping someone can help me with...
When using the iPhone app with the Sonos system and browsing by album, a small cover art icon of the album is shown in the list together with the album name and the artist name. Now on a compilation album I have two problems:
A) The album is displayed in the browsing list with the name of the artist on the very first song, rather than saying 'Various Artists'. Is there any way to change this?
B) When I select the album and go into the track list, I get a list of all the songs, but no artist information. Is there any way to show the artist name below each song, as is shown in the main album list?
This is taken from how you have them tagged in your library. I use Mediamonkey and change the "album artist" to "Various" and each track within the album to the artist performing the song.

What I was trying to say, but put down so much better.
can Mediamonkey tag all file formats? I'm mostly using Apple Lossless now
I'm pretty sure it doesn't support Apple Lossless (not at home so can't check).
Having found the time to try, yes it does - at least on the few albums I've tried. Impressed with the program so far

I'm not sure if this is what your looking for. I have my albums as AAC and us i-Tunes compilations. In the 'get info' I have artist as artist and album artist as various.
a) I don't get any info at all on the album just it's title. They're under (compilations) at the top of the artist list and mixed into the albums list.
b) The only way I know is to highlight a song then press info. This gives the artist name.
