Setting up a new wireless network

I use a dlna approved Sony laptop with my music, wav files, stored on a Maxtor external hard drive and am looking at getting either a Sonos ZP9O, with a zone bridge attached to my netgear router or use a Logitec Squeezebox receiver. Will be using my itouch as the remote for either of these. Which way from your experiences would be better for quality of sound and value for money. They will be played through a Cyrus 6vs amp and I will probably get a dac to improve sound quality if required.
