LinkSys KiSS?

I want a system that will enable me to watch films I currently have stored on my Mac in various formats (MP4 & .avi mainly) on my new Panasonic plasma.

Apples own AppleTV is good but only allows you to watch films on your iTunes and you cant load .avi files onto iTunes.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I am currently thinking of the LinkSys KiSS...
