Freecom Nas Drive - JD/anyone advice please

JD, do you use the passwording for folders on your nas drives?

I've set up accounts, but my mac seems to ignore that they need different permissions for different folders.

Do you have the same or have i done it wrong? the instructions are pretty basic.
