I need a new router since my free EE one is too slow and the wifi signal is not strong enough. My brother in law said i need a Gigabit and he recommended the Asus that he has (N900 i think- £110).

I currently have 2 iphones, 2 macbooks and an airport express being used in the house along with a Synology Diskstation. For a little but more money, I can get an airport extreme which is gigabit enabled. Would Airport extreme be better since ive already got a few apple products and this would be easy to fit in with everything? or should I get an alternative brand like Asus?

Thinking of moving from Pklusnet to BT Broadband. Noticed there used to be  problems with regards to Sky TV via BT. Are these problems all resolved now ?

I have no problems with Plusnet CA4D4D ( though had problems with my Belkin .9C50 Model F7D4401 v1, it used to be intermittent and lose signal).

I am looking to create wifi in my workshop down the garden.

I have some netgear Ethernet adapters that plug into the mains sockets.

If I plug an old netgear wireless router into the the plug with Ethernet cable would that create wifi in my workshop.

If not how could I do it?

I've recently purchased a pair of Denon Piccolo units and they have a USB input on the front. I'm wondering...could I stick a Bluetooth dongle in there and send audio from my phone?  There's nowt in the instruction book that says I can't.  Failing this, it's probably going to be a Logitech jobbie into the aux input.

Hi.I have just had fibre optic installed .I am having a problem getting my Sky wireless connector to link up to my new router which is a Brightbox from EE.I am trying to connect it so that I can have on demand on sky.Everything works perfectly Ipad picks up all over the house its just the Sky wireless connector.Can anyone advise me what to do.Thanks

I've used Airfoil for ages to stream Spotify to my hi fi via Apple TV. However, until today I've had a TP Link wi fi access point replacing the wi fi duties of my HomeHub3. Today I had a fiddle and got it to extend my HH3 instead, so I'm effectively now connecting over wi fi to my HH.

Now my Apple TV no longer shows up in Airfoil and iTunes. Plug an ethernet cable in and it's there. So what's stopping it over wi fi using the HomeHub? I assumed it was a port forwarding issue but  there's nothing online alluding to it.

Any ideas?

Friend has an Acer 5750 and the computer got closed down incorrectly and now wireless is disabled ?
Keyboard buttons not working to switch it in anybody got an idea what to do ?
Software used is windows 7 home premium if that makes any difference
