I wasn't sure where to put this post but I will try here!
Came accross The above pvr/streaming device and from what I read it seems to be a regular pvr which you can also use to stream to other devices in your house or out and about and can be used to stream content from a pc to your tv/hifi like an apple tv. Is this the case or have i not understood the spec? The reason I ask is I have been thinking about getting both an apple tv and a new hd pvr but if this does both in one box I may well have found the best of both worlds! do people think I could use this box in this way?

I am not that in the know about the sling box teck so was hoping for some advice.
Thanks!

RE: Wi-fi

Its a Freesat PVR with Slingbox tech onboard, that allows you to stream content from it to PCs and Smartphones etc. Dont think you can stream content to it, like ATVs though.

RE: Wi-fi

Ahhh, thanks for the clarification. it's a shame it doesn't stream from the pc, that would be a complete solution, still think it will be on my shortlist for the mObile viewing. It would be good for tv in another room with the sling catcher as we can't get freeview signal in our bedroom.
Wonder if whifi will be reviewing it when it comes out?
