Fahnsen:or play the same music on both using Airfoil on one computer
Or iTunes.
thanks guys,
just to clarify i use another AE base station?
Sean
Yup, just another one of these (though of course you don't have to buy it from the Apple Store, just an easy link!).
professorhat:Or iTunes.

Last time I checked, iTunes could only use one 'speaker' at the time. Airfoil do not have that limitation. To play to more than one speaker from iTunes, you'll need Airfoil.

Nope, you can have several - Apple quote "The maximum number of remote AirPort Express units is three to six in typical conditions". They all have to play the same thing, mind...

You're right!
You just have to open a dialog box to choose more than one.
Very un-appleish...

No problem. Just start AirPort Utility and follow the automated set-up, choosing the 'extend existing network' option.
You can then use the two AirPorts independently from different computers, or play the same music on both using Airfoil on one computer.
