Accessing wireless LAN from Android phone?

Hi

Please forgive me and point me in the direction if this is covered somewhere else..

Can I access my wireless network from my HTC Desire? I would like to be able to access shared files on it. It's already set up to use the network to connect to the internet, but I can't figure it out.

Yes.

There are many apps for it. I use ES File Explorer. I couldn't say if that's the best as it's all I've bothered using other than Teamviewer... Teamviewer will let you access your PC desktop remotely.
