Why isn't there a music topic?
It's beyond me why this forum does not have permanent topics like Music and Films.
Isn't music and films the reason we buy expensive equipment?
We have very long running topics called "what are you listening to" (including a separate vinyl thread) and "what are you watching", which fulfil the same function.
It does - a thriving sub-forum about the music, movies and TV forum users are listening to/watching. Can't believe you haven't found it!

I think and I must admit to being guilty of this that when I post an album cover that everybody knows the artist type of music etc so maybe a disciption of type of music and other groups who may be of intrest to others who may not be as long in the tooth as I am

I wouldn't worry about that, I think you'll find most of us tend to regard the section headings as for guidance only. Even 'Off Topic and Miscellaneous'...

I mean it has a topic called 'whathifi.com Fantasy Football', but none about music and films. What gives?!
